Managing behaviour

We aim to provide a happy, stable, well organised environment where all pupils are encouraged  and supported to manage and regulate their behaviour . We are proud of the  way  many  of  our  pupils  will  actively  seek  to  look  after  others  and  the caring and positive attitudes that are present throughout the school. We work in partnership with families to co-produce strategies to support positive behaviour and IBPs (Individual Behaviour Plans), agreeing strategies that can be used in different settings, including at home and in school.  We work with psychologists, CAMHs and colleagues in health and social care to ensure that strategies are appropriate, realistic and carefully monitored. Our staff are training in positive behaviour management strategies using Team Teach and we have two senior members of staff who are in-house trainers.

We have an active positive behaviour management policy that is co-ordinated throughout the school and families are welcome to have a copy. Click here to download
