Samuel Pepys is a Cambridgeshire area special school for 102 (114 on roll) pupils aged 3 – 19 years living in St. Neots and the surrounding area. All pupils have an EHC Plan to meet their severe and complex needs.

Described by Ofsted (May 2018) as ‘an outward-looking, reflective and innovative community;’ the ‘wealth of learning opportunities’ for staff to enable them to provide pupils with the best possible support is a key feature of our school.

We wish to appoint a team player whose skills and experience will contribute to meeting the individual needs of our pupils. The successful applicant will confidently and competently be able to support children and young people with a range of complex needs, support challenging behaviour and be flexible about working across the whole school.

Your prospects of being invited to interview will be enhanced if your letter of application identifies your personal experiences, strengths and qualities cross referenced to the person specification.

Samuel Pepys School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to successful pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS, health check and references, which will be requested prior to interview. We actively promote equality of opportunity in employment in our school and would be pleased to receive applications from all candidates regardless of age, ethnicity or religion.
