School Curriculum
We aim to teach what really matters to every child, young person and their family; teaching skills and knowledge that are important and useful.
Our curriculum policy and planning sets out our framework to enable progression and challenge with opportunities to learn, embed and transfer learning concepts. Our curriculum is also flexible and influenced by the needs of each individual learner.
The curriculum is constantly evolving and never static. We embrace new ideas, opportunities and resources and review our schemes of work to ensure the curriculum is ambitious, well planned and appropriately sequenced.
The curriculum at Samuel Pepys School is broad and offers a wide range of engaging learning experiences across all key stages. The curriculum policy includes a detailed curriculum glossary, offering an explanation of what and why we teach what we do.
