Advice re Coronavirus

There are understandably concerns around the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and the impact upon schools and communities.

Please can we assure you that we continue to follow the advice from Public Health England (PHE) and the Department for Education, who send out daily bulletins.

The advice from PHE is that if your child has a high temperature or a new, persistent cough then you should stay at home for seven days. Please can we ask that if your child is unwell, you take this advice and phone the school office to inform us. If you are aware of a confirmed case of coronavirus within your family, please let the school know.

For the time being school remains open and we will continue to keep you updated via email and the school website.  Safety and hygiene measures continue to include encouraging regular hand washing, keeping rooms ventilated and every room has anti-bacterial spray and alcohol hand gel. Please may we ask that if your child uses a wheelchair or has mobility equipment that the handles are cleaned at least daily.
