Our Playground Mural.
We have now got a really lovely mural on our playground wall. We were fortunate to have Syrah Arnold, a professional artist from Chatteris to come and work with us.
Syrah started off by running some art workshops where students were asked to draw their mural design. Syrah then incorporated all the ideas together and came up with the final design. This was then voted on by the school council.
Once Syrah had the go ahead she dodged the rain and painted the mural over a couple of months with assistance from some of our parents. Students were able to make their individual mark by making a hand print on the wall.
Thanks to funding from The Rotary Club, St Mary’s and B&Q for providing the paints, we were able to achieve our lovely mural.
